The Psychology of Gossip

Abstract

First, I will discuss how we define and study gossip based on a recently published conceptual paper. Second, I will continue to talk about studying gossip in everyday life in line with this definition and focus on gossip’s role in reputation based cooperation. Finally, I have selected some topics that flow from this study of gossip in everyday life that I am looking to pursue in future research.
